The Flat Earth

While mainstream science dismisses the Flat Earth hypothesis as absurd, my perspective on this topic involves a deep skepticism of consensus reality and institutional authority. In my view, the resurgence of Flat Earth theory stems from a fundamental distrust of space agencies like NASA, which many adherents accuse of generating CGI composites rather than authentic imagery of a spinning globe in a vacuum. When I analyze the arguments put forward by proponents—such as the apparent lack of observable curvature across vast bodies of water, the peculiarities of long-distance laser gyroscopes, and the strict international militarization of Antarctica under the Antarctic Treaty—I find an intriguing critique of blind scientific dogma. In my opinion, even if the physical model proposed by flat-earth theorists presents insurmountable geometric contradictions, the psychological driver behind the movement is a profound desire for direct, unmediated sensory experience over deference to institutional scientists whose funding and narratives are controlled by centralized state powers.
