WAWDOS Content Submission Policy

At WAWDOS, stories are at the center of everything we do.
Whether you're submitting a creepy experience, a conspiracy, or something you simply want to share with the community, this policy explains how submissions work and what happens after you press Submit.
By submitting content to WAWDOS, you agree to this Content Submission Policy, our Community Guidelines, our Privacy Policy, and our Terms & Conditions.
1. What You Can Submit
WAWDOS is built for unusual stories and ideas.
You can submit content such as:
Creepy stories
Personal experiences
Strange encounters
Unexplained experiences
Conspiracies
Other content that fits the purpose of WAWDOS
The exact categories and submission options available to you may depend on the features currently available on WAWDOS.
2. Your Submission Belongs to You
You are responsible for the content you submit.
You should only submit content that you have the right to submit.
Do not submit someone else's copyrighted work as your own or submit private information about another person without an appropriate reason or permission.
You are responsible for ensuring that your submission complies with the WAWDOS Community Guidelines.
3. Manual Review
Every submission that requires review is reviewed manually by humans.
WAWDOS does not use AI to review submissions.
Your submission is not automatically judged, analyzed, or approved by an artificial intelligence system.
We use manual review because protecting the privacy of our users is important to us.
This approach allows WAWDOS to keep submission review human rather than relying on automated AI analysis of the stories and experiences users choose to share.
4. What Happens After You Submit
After submitting your content, it may enter the WAWDOS review process.
A submission may be reviewed to determine whether it is appropriate for publication and whether it follows the WAWDOS Community Guidelines.
A submission may:
Be accepted
Be rejected
Require changes before publication
Be removed or restricted if it violates WAWDOS rules Submitting a story does not guarantee that it will be published.
WAWDOS may decide not to publish a submission when it does not fit the platform, does not meet the applicable requirements, or violates our rules.
5. Your Submission and Your WAWDOS Profile
When you submit content while using your WAWDOS identity, your submitted content may be associated with your WAWDOS username.
This allows you to see your submitted stories through your WAWDOS profile where that functionality is available.
Your WAWDOS username is the identity used for attribution rather than your real-world name.
6. Cipher
WAWDOS provides Cipher as an anonymous submission option.
Cipher allows you to submit content without publicly connecting the submission to your WAWDOS username.
If you choose Cipher, your submission may be displayed under Cipher or another anonymous designation rather than your WAWDOS username.
If anonymity is important to you, remember that the content itself can reveal information about its author.
Do not include your real name, address, contact information, or other identifying details in a Cipher submission if you do not want those details to be publicly associated with you.
7. How WAWDOS May Use Your Submission
By submitting content to WAWDOS, you allow WAWDOS to use your submission in connection with the platform and WAWDOS-related content.
This may include:
Publishing the submission on WAWDOS
Featuring the submission
Using the submission in WAWDOS storytelling content Using the submission in promotional content Sharing the submission through WAWDOS-operated social media or other WAWDOS-related channels
Adapting the presentation of the submission for WAWDOS's storytelling format
WAWDOS may use your submission without revealing your real-world identity.
8. Attribution
WAWDOS is designed to maintain the anonymity of its users.
For this reason, WAWDOS will not publicly credit your submission using your real name.
When attribution is provided, WAWDOS may credit the submission using your WAWDOS username.
For example:
Submitted by @YourWAWDOSUsername
If the submission was made through Cipher, the attribution may instead appear as:
Submitted by Cipher
This allows WAWDOS to recognize the creator of a submission while maintaining the user's public anonymity.
9. Story Usage and Anonymity
WAWDOS may use the same submission across different WAWDOS experiences or content formats.
Your real-world identity will not be publicly revealed simply because WAWDOS uses your submission.
However, you are responsible for what you include in your story.
If you voluntarily identify yourself inside the story, WAWDOS cannot guarantee that other people will not see that information.
If you want to remain anonymous, write your submission accordingly.
10. Submission Limits
Submission limits may depend on the mode of your WAWDOS account.
Free Mode currently allows users to submit:
1 story every 24 hours
Up to 7 stories per week
Up to 28 stories per month
Ghost Mode provides additional submission and sharing privileges as described on the Ghost Mode page.
WAWDOS may update these limits as the platform develops.
11. Editing and Changes to Submissions
WAWDOS may make necessary changes to the presentation, formatting, or appearance of a submission when preparing it for publication or other WAWDOS content.
This may include changes required to fit the WAWDOS storytelling format.
The purpose of these changes is to present the submission appropriately within the platform.
WAWDOS may also remove or stop displaying a submission when necessary under its rules or policies.
12. Prohibited Submissions
A submission must comply with the WAWDOS Community Guidelines.
You must not use the submission system to:
Threaten another person
Harass another person
Bully another user
Reveal another person's identity
Publish private information about another person Deliberately target another user Abuse the submission system Circumvent WAWDOS restrictions Submit content that violates the WAWDOS Community Guidelines Violations may result in the submitted content being rejected or removed and may result in action against the user's account.
13. No Guarantee of Publication
Submitting content to WAWDOS does not guarantee publication.
WAWDOS may choose whether and when a submission is published or featured.
A submission may remain unpublished or may be removed after publication.
WAWDOS does not guarantee a specific publication time or placement for any submission.
14. Your Responsibility
Before submitting, make sure that:
You are comfortable with WAWDOS using your submission You have the right to submit the content You are not unnecessarily revealing your identity You are not revealing another person's private information Your submission follows the Community Guidelines You understand that WAWDOS may use the submission in WAWDOS-related content Once you submit, the content may become part of the WAWDOS storytelling ecosystem.
